Synopsis: The massacre of 34 striking mineworkers at Marikana mine brought many issues into sharp focus. Tensions between the community and the mining companies seem set to explode with dire consequences. The director explores how the mineral wealth, although rightfully belonging to the South African, has been sold to capitalist interests for the enrichment of a few elite at the expense of others.
